INSOMNIAC GAMES

Christine Everhart reporting directly from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California at The 95th Academy Awards. Tonight is such a momentous occasion as we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Spider-Man at The Oscars for the very first time. Not only does this month commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the very first issue of the web-crawler, today also marks the tragic tale of one of the most important and greatest Spider-Man comic books in history, with the 50th anniversary of the release of The Amazing Spider-Man Issue No. 121. Walking on the blue carpet earlier today at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Vanity Fair spoke with countless Spider-Man fans who expressed their appreciation for the web-crawling superhero, including the host of The Oscars himself, Jimmy Kimmel.

We attempted to speak to Will Smith, however, he was not present at The Oscars. Something must have happened last year that Vanity Fair are unaware of. We have no idea why, however, we were told from other reporters, including three from Vanity Fair in your universe, not to mention Will Smith’s spouse by name in this article. For legal reasons, we will not be doing so.

Vanity Fair did however, get to speak exclusively to Jaden Smith, an extremely talented MSFT, who doesn’t conform to society and is currently on the way up. Instead of talking about the glitz and the glamour at the Oscars, Jaden talked about the political and economic state of the world right now. He refused to comment on any involvement regarding any upcoming Spider-Man projects.

Hardcore Spider-Man fans (which is basically everyone from every corner of every universe unless you’re the Green Goblin) would appreciate the bountiful amount of Spider-Man content that will be available throughout the entire Multiverse over the next few years. Let’s go through everything right now at The Oscars.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be screening with a live orchestra on March 17, 2023 at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York City. This is all before the Multiverse-wide theatrical release of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse on June 2, 2023, which, according to Empire State Photographic Department, you will get another look at on April 4, 2023. What an exciting day that will be. Trust us. You heard it here first.

On May 20, 2023, Spider-Man fans and sneaker heads will be given the opportunity to secure the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” in University Red/Black/White colorway at a recommended retail price (RRP) of $200. Good luck with that. They’ll be extremely difficult to get. The style number for the sneakers is DV1748-601. Another item that will be extremely difficult to obtain is the Limited Edition Art Book for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse which releases in June 2023.

June 2, 2023 is when Spider-Man fans from all universes will be invited to see Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse in premium formats and Kraven the Hunter finally releases on October 6, 2023.

What an amazing feast for Spider-Man fans from all corners from every universe. In addition to these already exciting announcements, El Muerto releases on January 12, 2024 with Madame Web releasing shortly afterwards on February 16, 2024. This streak continues with the release of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse on March 29, 2024, and another pair of limited edition sneakers that will also be available for $200 on March 16, 2024, shortly before the release of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. A limited edition art b0ok will also release in extremely limited qualities. Spider-Man will then appear yet again exclusively on Disney Plus in Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Freshman Year in September 2024, after the release of the third Venom instalment, the sequel to Venom: Let There Be Carnage on July 12, 2024. Spider-Man will then return in Spider-Man Sophomore Year in September 2025 before being presented in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Secret Wars on April 24, 2026.

That’s a lot of Spider-Man content across the Multiverse for the next few years. For all the latest news, stay tuned to Vanity Fair.
